Francine Wolf, producer of ZaZu Productions and Pants Optional Comedy, has been a professional actor, singer, improviser and SAG-AFTRA member, appearing on stage, film and TV for over thirty years. Her improv career began in Ohio, when she was a member of Playback Columbus. Moving to Florida in 2000, she was a co-founding member of BAIT--Bay Area Improv Theatre. In 2018, she started touring with a one-woman improv show, "Half-Baked Boomer." ZaZu Productions has been presenting live theatre, "ZaZu's Revue," red carpet characters and improv since 2005.
Michèle radiates energy, takes leaps trusting she’ll fly, shares lifelong lessons learned, and illuminates possibilities. An engaging and edu-taining authenticity coach/healer/raconteur/performing artist, whatever works is her motto!
Natasha Samreny’s playful style of comedy blends cheeky characters and observations from her life, relationships, and mixed upbringing as a multicultural military brat. Natasha started in journalism but realized she had a lot more fun telling her own twisted stories. She's an actor, improviser and stand-up comedian via The Second City in Chicago, and has performed at The Improv, Zanies, the Edinburgh Fringe, Camden Fringe, and NYC Sketchfest.
Leigh Shein has done improv with Second City, Dick Schaal, Washington Improv Theatre, Bay Area Improv Theatre, WoW Improv, Improv Anonymous, Bonita City Improv, Scared Scriptless, and Gene Pool Party (a Dad and Daughter Improv group). He has also appeared as the “Sword-fighting-later-dead Roman General” at the Kennedy Center, hosted radio shows, done voiceovers and even sold mobile homes in the South of France. Leigh currently directs Players to be Named Later and Harry’s Senior Moment, writes and teaches improv to all ages including kids with Autism Spectrum Disorders
Lisa Vana learned improv over 20 years ago and believes the world would be a better place and a heck of a lot more fun if everyone and their brother would participate in this art form. She is a social worker in Akron, Ohio, and since 1997, Lisa has also been a practitioner of Playback Theatre, another non-scripted art form. Lisa is currently a member of Ohio Playback Theatre, she founded the Open Door Playback company while working at a maximum-security psychiatric hospital in Texas, and she has performed throughout the Midwest, Texas, Washington DC, and NYC.
Nicky has one real passion in life-well-- aside from loving the outdoors, nature, birdsong, cooking, music, meditation, up-cycling and community projects, She is a self-confessed laughter addict. Making others laugh is her favorite past time. Nicky says life is too short to be sad and recommends everyone takes a large dose of laughter on a regular basis. Nicky has been performing Improv Comedy for four years and coaching for the last two. Her top tip to all Improv participants is, "take care, laughing hard and fast can result in you peeing your pants so you should carry spares at all times"
Bob is currently a member of Ohio Playback Theatre. He is a lifelong Cleveland sports fan which accounts for his lack of humor. When not Improvising, Bob prosecutes drunk drivers.
Toby has been an improvisor for over 20 years. After a few years of acting in independent films and local commercials, Toby co-founded, directed and performed with the Bay Area Improv Theatre, a professional Improv troupe based in Tampa, Florida for more than 10 years.
He's been teaching Improv for most of these decades. Most recently he's taking Improv into Corporate America to try to loosen those folks up. Most common Toby quote: "Improv is magic and is useful in literally every part of life!"
Justin Simons really loves bananas, swimming under water the length of the pool in one breath, and once slept in a phone booth in Switzerland. He has a degree in theatre from Ohio State University and is a graduate of the School of Playback Theatre in New York. He and his wife, Amy, have been improv-ing as Bob & Marj from Embarrass, MN for over 20 years. Their motto is, “get over it.” By day he is a psychotherapist and he is always surprised at what people will pay him to do.
